Moody Culture Kombucha Launches in State College, Brewing Up Batches of Fresh, Healthy and Flavorful Kombucha
—Multiple independent and iconic local businesses carry Moody Culture Kombucha on tap and in bottles, delighting kombucha lovers throughout State College and the Centre Region—
State College, PA, October 11, 2017 — Moody Culture Kombucha, an independent, State College-based kombucha company, is pleased to officially launch. Joining State College’s flourishing entrepreneurial community, Moody Culture Kombucha is locally-brewed in small batches and distributed at several businesses throughout State College and the Centre Region. To introduce the product to the greater community, the company will host a series of free kombucha tastings at participating businesses. All tastings are open to the public as well as Centre County-based reporters, bloggers, on air personalities, and other members of the local media.
Complimentary Moody Culture Kombucha tastings will be held on Monday, October 23rd, from 4:00-7:00 pm at McLanahan’s Student Store, 414 East College Avenue; on Tuesday, October 24th, from 12:00- 2:00 pm at McLanahan’s Downtown Market, 116 South Allen Street; and on Saturday, November 4th, beginning at 9:00am, at Rothrock Coffee, 1736 South Atherton Street.
“Throughout our travels, we’ve been lucky to have the pleasure of sampling fine and delectable kombuchas. We both became so enamored with kombucha’s flavors and health benefits that we decided to jump in and begin brewing it ourselves,” said Lisa Harpster, Co-Founder and Community Connector. “Over the last several months, we’ve been brewing up what we call ‘a labor of love,’ and are thrilled to share it with the State College and Centre Region communities.”
Handcrafted in small batches, each bottle of Moody Culture Kombucha contains ingredients that are one hundred percent fresh and raw. At the core of the collection are six signature flavors: Cucumber Lime, Grapefruit, Lemon Ginger, Orange Peppermint, Raspberry Lemon, and Watermelon Mint. Seasonal flavors, such as Granny Smith Apple, are also on tap. In addition to their signature and seasonal brews, the company offers customized batches, brewed to suit individual taste buds and moods.
